Residents' rooms

We have eight rooms. Four are single ensuite rooms with a shower, toilet and basin. Two are single rooms with a bathroom, but the bathroom only has a toilet and a basin, with no shower. There is also a two-room suite with a shower, toilet and basin. Finally, at the top of the house is a flat with a bedroom, sitting room, kitchen, and bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin.

Communal facilities

In addition, Granby House has a large bathroom with a bath and a shower. The bath has a seat to make it easier to get into and out of. There is also a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The dining room and conservatory are at the back of the house, looking out over fields to Over Haddon.

Extra support

Granby House staff will help residents manage their medicines, and help with hearing aids. But they do not provide personal care. If help is needed with washing or dressing, then residents can organise this with a care agency, and care staff will come to Granby House once or twice a day. Local hairdressers and chiropodists come to Granby House regularly.
